The past couple of days have been highlight-filled days of richness and feasting when it comes to cross-gender friendships:
1. I asked for and received mad money for cross-gender friendship days! Oh Yeah!
2. Beth, Sheila's best friend is in town staying with us during the holidays. She collaborated with Sheila to give me something for Christmas I have always wanted but never had: a recliner!!!!! Zowies! Thank you, Beth and Sheila.
3. Shopping for Sheila with Jennifer on the 23rd and finding Sheila this beautiful red dress.
3. Jennifer was here for Christmas day.
4. And, yes, in a completely spontaneous move, having fun with Jennifer in a surprise cross-gender friendship day--the day after Christmas!!!! After picking Jennifer up yesterday, Sheila calls me on the cell phone and says, "Daniel, may this day be a blessing to you as you have fun with Jen. Enjoy it."
